TRADITIONAL ENGRAVED, CERAMIC AND GILDED DECORATION

traditional engraved decoration
The traditional skills of engraving are employed to produce the fine detail and pleasing finish demanded on the best quality crystal and glass. Each glass is decorated using sandblast engraving techniques before being finished by hand.
ceramic transfer decoration
The use of ceramic inks allows us to decorate in single or multiple colours on glassware. Transfers are fired onto the surface of the glass for permanence. We also offer a “look-alike-engraving” ceramic decoration. For larger quantities this can result in significant cost savings.
gilding
The traditional skills of engraving are complemented by our skills at hand applied gold decoration. This technique is available for bespoke orders.
artwork guidelines
Artwork should be supplied by email, CD , disk or bromide. We prefer artwork to be supplied as a vector graphics eps file or CorelDraw files (versions 8, 9 & X3) with all text converted to paths/outlines; however we can also accept Adobe Illustrator files.
packaging
Unless otherwise stated all items are supplied in standard card cartons, which are included in the prices listed. Where a presentation box is included in the item description, this will usually be a rigid lift off lid box, although the colour and style may vary.
